Juniors Club

Harlow Jikishin Junior Ju Jitsu Club has been running since 2003 and has built a solid and regular attendance.  The Club is run by Will Murley, 2nd Dan and Level 3 Coach.

The club is run on the basis that all children training must be sensible and self disciplined, this has a carry over into everyday life.  The students of Ju Jitsu are generally more self confident, and have a better attitude to life.

Under the British Ju Jitsu Association Governing Body (BJJA (GB)) the club has a full Child Protection Policy.  All instructors are trained, hold First Aid certification, and hold Public and Personal Liability Insurance, and enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Clearance - the safety of our students is always the first priority.

Will Murley has been a Jikishin member since he was 6 years old and has progressed through he junior ranks to take his Junior Black belt, since when Will has completed his senior 1st and 2nd Dan gradings ands is now an experienced coach.  Having come up from the juniors, Will has a particular affinity with the youngsters and is extremely popular with all of the juniors who train at the club.

Will has also competed with Jikishin for medals at major championships and has won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at International Level both as a junior and senior.

Earl Walker, 4th Dan and Level 4 Senior Coach, is the club senior instructor.

The club is based at Harlow Sportcentre, Hammarskjold Road, Harlow, CM20 2JF, close to Harlow Town Centre.

The club is held in a permanent Dojo, which is fully matted, and is air conditioned.  Initially the only clothing required is a pair of jogging bottoms or a leotard, and a T-shirt.
